I dumped him a few weeks ago on my fantasy team. He wasn't producing anything.

Are they still going to have that chance once they get rid of big brother Staal?

Good read guest blogger. I remember Skinner as a Kitchener Ranger in OHL. He came out of nowhere(ish) and led the league in goals. He wasn't crazy touted prospect but man...I used to live in Kitchener and this guy found the open ice, had an eye for the net and could release quick and aim.

It was supposed to be a 'down year' for Kitchener Rangers which means still middle of the pack and holy hell he was a puck magnet.

Big fan of Skinner - obviously - and glad to see him finding the net again. I saw a stat that from his draft class he's second in goals to someone awesome I can't remember. It was after Tavares and Stamkos' year I think... this is a bad blank of superstar, point is.

I would love to see him with JT on the Island, Skinner scores 40 a year with Taveras.

You lost me with your poor fact checking:

With two hat-tricks in three games, he now has 14 goals on the season; unfortunately, those two games the Canes ended up losing.

His first hat trick was capped off with an empty net goal against the Ducks...something that rarely leads to a loss. They won 5-1.

I'm still wondering if this was a serious blog or just a poops and giggles joke
